Carefree
My smile is wide
Lips full they look like two crescent moons plump with forbidden fruit
Hips waxing taking up space for two
Thighs that tell you to get a grip
Fingers that trace lines up your spine
Swerving on my curves until I open up
This is my favorite chapter of the book
I want to leave folds on the unforgettable moments in the hopes that they never slip my mind
I can’t forget the way you sipped on that wine
Pinot Grigio sweet
Tasting the afterthoughts of lust and a little chai
Brown on brown feels like we’re a melting pot of autumn leaves
Falling gracefully
Cascading into your arms
You feel like home
like east African sunsets
Mauve skies and nostalgic playlists
I can’t recall a time I didn’t know your name
At times I wonder if you remember me from another life
Perhaps we were star crossed lovers at a crossroad committed to letting go

Autumn is around the corner! I absolutely adore it. Something about leaves falling, cozy clothes, and most of all the gorgeous sunsets. Not to mention just how inspired I be feeling in the fall. I’m excited to write more, drop more music, and just embrace life while enjoying the fruits of my labor. I deserve that! Cheers. Remember life is truly what you make it. It does have its twists and turns but God will always be there every step of the way. Que dios te bendiga!
