What is this sense of self-importance we attach to titles?

I lost count when I realized some of us only live for recognition

For the acknowledgment that I accomplished something

That if this were a race, I’d be a few steps ahead

Aren’t we all headed toward the same destination anyway?

You’re not your position or what you have accomplished! Yes titles and accolades are nice and do give us a sense of accomplishment but it’s certain things you can’t take with you and titles happen to be one. How are you making an impact? How are you using your position to positively impact those around you or your community?
